Der Browser des Suchmaschinengiganten Google mit dem Namen Chrome wurde erstmal im Jahr 2008 vorgestellt. Der Vielfalt der Dienste von Google ist es auch zu verdanken, das einige sinnvolle davon gleich in Google Chrome integriert sind, wie z.B. die Übersetzung von Webseiten oder die erweiterte Synchronisation per Google-Mail. Ebenso ist ein PDF-Viewer und das Flash-PlugIn schon standardmäßig vorhanden. Bei den anderen Browsern ist hier eine nachträgliche Installation nötig.
Der Browser Google Chrome ist für die Betriebssysteme Microsoft Windows, Linux und Apple MacOS verfügbar.
